My name is Nicolas, and this started the way most meaningful things do. Quietly, without a grand plan.

I wanted my children to grow up understanding the world. Not just seeing it, but genuinely feeling connected to it. To a Kenyan child herding cattle at dawn. To a Japanese grandmother folding origami by a temple window. To a young boy in Borneo who knows every sound the jungle makes before the sun has fully risen. I wanted my children to feel that none of these lives were foreign. Just beautifully, fascinatingly different from their own.

Bedtime stories became the beginning. A brave eleven-year-old girl named Maggie, travelling the world with her researcher parents aboard a weathered three-masted schooner called the Jolly Roger. And somewhere between the jungles of Borneo and the peaks of the Himalayas, Maggie stopped being just a character. She became a purpose.

What started at bedtime is now a universe. A published book series, a web app, and a growing community of families who share one belief: that the best way to care for our world is to fall genuinely, deeply in love with all of it. Every culture. Every creature. Every beautifully unfamiliar corner of this planet we share.

Maggie's Adventures Universe is built on three pillars. Each one distinct. Each one essential.

Worldly Education

Maggie doesn't just visit places. She listens to them.

Through MAU’s Discover the World feature, families choose any destination on Earth and Maggie guides their children through five layers of genuine discovery. The landscapes and ecology through the Virtual Explorer. The local language through phrase-by-phrase audio lessons. The traditions, history, beliefs, and daily rhythms of local life through an interactive Cultural Deep Dive. And the native wildlife through real species encounters grounded in ecological precision, each one culminating in a personal pledge the child writes to the natural world.

Designed for curious minds aged 6 to 12, this is not a quiz or a textbook exercise. It is an immersive guided experience crafted to help children genuinely understand the people, creatures, and places that share our planet. Content is validated against sources including WWF, National Geographic, and UNESCO, and every section is written in Maggie's voice: warm, grounded, and endlessly respectful of difference.

Because the world does not need more passive observers. It needs young humans who truly see one another.

Storytelling

Every destination a family explores unlocks a personalised short story adventure, an original narrative set in that exact place, starring Maggie and her family, written with the sensory richness and emotional warmth that runs through every page of the published books.

The published series opens with Maggie and the Orangutans, taking young readers into the heart of Borneo's rainforest and the devastating reality of habitat loss. Through Maggie's rare gift of understanding the animal world, children do not simply read about endangered species. They hear from them. A second title, Maggie in the Himalayas, is in final editing. Four further titles are in development across destinations that will take the series to every inhabited continent.

Each book, each story, each chapter is produced with one consistent intention: to make a child feel that the world is theirs to protect, not just to visit.

Real World Discovery

The third pillar closes the loop.

Wonder without action remains only a feeling. MAU is building a real world discovery feature that will help families plan the adventures themselves, from spontaneous local day trips to long-haul expeditions across continents. Families will arrive at their destinations already equipped with cultural intelligence, ecological awareness, and the kind of genuine curiosity that transforms a holiday into something far more meaningful.

This feature is in advanced development and will launch as the Discover the World section reaches full maturity. When it does, the circle completes: understand the world, let Maggie tell you its story, then go and live it yourself.

Why This Exists

The world's most persistent challenges, environmental destruction, cultural misunderstanding, the gradual erosion of empathy across borders, share a common root. Disconnection. We misunderstand what we have never taken the time to know. We overlook what we have never been invited to see.

MAU exists to close that distance. One family at a time, starting with the children who will shape whatever world comes next.

For parents, it is a tool that transforms screen time into something genuinely enriching. For educators and institutional partners, it is a content ecosystem grounded in real-world sources and delivered through the most powerful pedagogical vehicle we have: a story children actually want to finish. For investors and collaborators, it is a scalable IP universe at an early stage, with a published product, a live web app, a mobile roadmap underway, and a mission that speaks directly to the values shaping the next generation of conscious consumers.

The children who fall in love with this world today will be its most devoted guardians tomorrow. And the ones who grow up understanding their neighbours will choose curiosity over fear, and connection over indifference.

That is what we are building here. And we are only at the beginning.
